Despite the immense and varied talent available to the country, India is still deprived of untapped real talent and many a childhood Sporting dream comes down crashing everyday simply because the hands wielding the bat are reduced to the lowest ebb of poverty. Yet the best cricketing talent and the sharpest of cricketing brains have been contributed to the game by this very segment of the society. The Sudama Premier League is a tournament of 16 teams who shall play league matches leading to quarter finals, semi finals and eventually the finals.

The format of the tournament makes it mandatory for each team to have at least two players belonging to the EWS/BPL category. The probable candidates will be short listed by conducting Open Trials. The tournament will be played following the ICC rules for T-20 format. The teams will be divided in 4 Groups and 2 top teams will be selected from each Group to compete for Quarter-Finals.
